Fall is for Foodies

Apple-picking in Virginia with my friend Jess. And that’s a cider slushie!

Fall is by far my favorite time of the year…as a Midwesterner I love the cold weather, and as an East Coast resident, I can appreciate the prolonged change in leaf colors. Let’s face it though, the best part of fall is the food…especially pumpkin, apple, and cranberry concoctions. For the next two months, I will be posting entries featuring said ingredients. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

On tap for November and December:

  • Whole Wheat Pasta with Pumpkin Sauce and Vegetables
  • Savory Pumpkin Cranberry Kugel
  • Butternut Squash with Spinach and Cranberries
  • Creamy Pumpkin Soup with Apples
  • Tangy Apple Hummus
  • Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
  • Cranberry Applesauce
  • Iced Pumpkin Spice Cookies
  • Fluffy Pumpkin Pancakes
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Caramel Apples
  • Healthy Pumpkin Oatmeal Pancakes
  • Weekday Pumpkin Oatmeal
